Bujinkan Shinden Dojo (BSD) was founded in 2000 by uniting three dojos around the Helsinki area, and has since been lead by Shihan Lauri Jokinen.

We host several seminars each year, to which trainees come from other dojos in Finland as well as abroad. BSD invites foreign teachers to teach and hold seminars and we normally have several suchs events a year, including Taikai Finland. BSD trainees visit international seminars and foreign dojos, especially Japan.

Shihan Lauri Jokinen
Our head instructor Lauri Jokinen has been training in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu since 1988. He has been one of the most important figures in bringing Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu to Finland and continues to work endlessly for the art. It is thanks to him that we are able to enjoy a high level of training through foreign and domestic teachers.
